Jeremiah was a Bull Frog....Dadada...And a good friend of mine...Dadada

Well our good friend Jeremiah came to visit us here in Arizona this past Friday evening. It was a short visit, but was filled with excitement, laughs, and screams! Here see for yourselves!
Here's Maggie trying to help daddy get Jeremiah to not be so shy. Jeremiah decided to hide behind some tables in the garage.
Here's Jeremiah being Shy!
Here's Jonathan freaking out over touching a bull frog. I am sorry, but it was REALLY funny to see a grown man be so grossed out over touching a frog:)
Maggie felt it necessary to get into my make-up (what little I have) and look her best for our guest. As you can see she wasn't sure if she was in trouble or not.She realizes she can show off the make-up job! Way to go Maggie, you look FABULOUS!!

***Just a side note: I am SO naive, I didn't realize frogs would live here in the city, let alone in 100 degree weather. I thought they needed water to survive, and if I'm not mistaken I haven't seen any puddles around here lately? I am confused so if anyone is an expert on frogs, please explain, thanks!

I am in HEAVEN!!!!!!!!

I am SO incredibly happy! I LOVE to can or bottle as the old timers say. Anyway, our relief society president contacted me a couple of weeks ago, to see if I wanted to organize getting fruit for our ward. She had a name, so really all I needed to do was see who wanted it and order it for them. Anyway, the fruit arrived Wednesday 9/3 and I have been in heaven ever since. I canned raspberry jam and blackberry jam first, then I did tomatoes. I ate a half a box of peaches and will enjoy another half this week too. I would have canned peaches this year, but I still have over 60 qts, left from two years ago:/ The blackberries were SO juicy and sweet. Even the raspberries were sweet too. I love fresh anything! I am that commercial, "miss fresh-i-fresh", to a T. I believe I have even gotten into a verbal disagreement before with the produce people at wal-mart before in regards to their produce not being fresh. Anyway, here are a couple , I mean a lot, of pictures displaying my "heaven". Man, one might think I am a little obsessive about canning!?

More of Labor Day Weekend!

So later in the day on Monday, I decided that the kids weren't going to watch another cartoon, so I got them ready and took them over to this community splash park in another neighborhood. At fist they didn't want to go, because it, "It wasn't going to be fun", but I insisted that we were not going to be lazy on this day and they were going to come and have fun whether they liked it or not:) WELL, as you will see from the pictures and video, we did have fun! It was the perfect day too to be outside! I even got crazy and had fun with them. Poor Jonathan couldn't come with us, because he needed to get some church financial stuff done for an audit:( Anyway, hope you enjoy the pics.

Before we left
Nice posing ladies
Arriving at the park
Notice how white my kids look. That is what I call SPF 50 all summer long!
Yum-a-licious

After playing in the water we decided to play in the sand and jungle gym. We played at the park for almost four hours; we had a BLAST!

Traffic jam:)We had fun and as our friends at the park would say, "Adios Amigos"

LABOR DAY WEEKEND :-)

My mom, step-dad, and sister came into town over Labor Day weekend. It was so much fun!! Saturday we made a nice big breakfast. Kait made these awesome lemon souffle pancakes, then I made some hash browns and sausage. YUMMY! They then went to go visit some friends!
Loves for GrandmaOkay, so Maggie was on the stairs and saw Kait then Maggie patted her hand next to her on the stair to motion Kait to sit next to her. It was so cute! (I know the picture is fuzzy, but you can see how happy Mag pie is that Kait sat next to her)
Grandma with some art projects to do with the girls. I love this about my mom, she always has some fun activity to do with them. They had SO much fun painting butterflies and playing with play-doh!WARNING: what you are about to see is not what you think it is:)
Megan with her slug (can't you tell?!)
She was SO proud of her slug, I love it!
Here is Anna's beautiful sculptureBeautiful girls/women

SUNDAY NIGHT
So we had such an awesome dinner (Rib eye steaks, roasted potatoes, broccoli, and a salad, then YUMMY cheesecake (thanks JLJ for recipe))
Then we played Apples to Apples. The girls had so much fun playing with the adults.
Kait and Amanda were partners (Kait was a trooper, she let Amanda choose the card to put down, so you can imagine they didn't win too often) Thanks Aunt Kait, You Rock!!
Anna and Mom were partners and had way too much fun laughing and giggling with what they choose.
Megan and I were partners, I don't know why no one wanted to take a picture of us, so I took one, good job huh!?

Goodbyes
Kait doesn't look that excited to go, does she? I can tell Chad is truly sad to leave the chaos of 4 young girls. Anyway, we are so grateful they were able to come and visit, even if it was short, we had fun and can't wait to see them in November!
